What Is Audio Verification?

Audio Verification is a device added to an alarm system, incorporating a speaker and microphone. This allows the Central Station to hear what's going on at the premises when the alarm goes off, and directly converse with the client or intruder.

How Does It Work?
Once the alarm has been triggered, a microphone is activated, allowing the Central Station to listen in to the protected premises. The dispatcher through a speaker also located on site, converses directly with the premises, controlling the audio using DTMF tones.

What Are The Best Uses For Audio Verification?
Every residential security system should have audio verification. This allows for more accurate verification of false alarms, better determination of break-ins, and invaluable in the event of a medical emergencies. Audio Verification is also recommended for most small commercial or retail businesses.

We believe Audio Verification is the future of the alarm industry.

Audio Verification is not simply a value-added feature--
  • gets a priority response from police,
  • it actually decreases false alarms & charges,
  • makes your system more user friendly
  • gets burglars off premises faster,
  • and saves lives.
